Bike Rehab Project (Recycle-A-Cycle)
Open to students entering 9th - 12th grade in Fall of 2010
Dates: Wed 8/4, Wed 8/11
Time: 2PM - 4PM
Meet at Youthlinks
Hang out in the bike shop at Youthlinks! Repair and tune up bikes for residents at the Hospitality House and earn 2 hours of community service while doing it. Don't know how or want to learn? Scott from Youthlinks will be on hand to help and teach.

Book & Cook
Open to students entering 9th - 12th grade in Fall of 2010

Time: 2PM - 4PM
Meet at Youthlinks
If you love to eat, cook, read, or talk then this is the program for you! It’s not for community service, it’s just for fun. We’ll spend time chatting about our favorite reading material while we whip up some yummy stuff to snack on.

Community Service at the Lobster Festival
Open to students entering 9th - 12th grade in Fall of 2010
Dates: Wed 8/4
Time: 10AM - 2PM
Meet at Lobster Festival
Complete four community service hours working at the food tent at the lobster festival. If you help out for the four hours you will also receive a free t-shirt, a free admission pass for that day, and a free bracelet for an additional day of your choice. So grabs some friends and do a little cooking at the festival.

Installation Art
Open to students entering 9th - 12th grade in Fall of 2010
Dates: Tues 8/3
Time: 2PM - 4PM
Meet at Lincoln Street Center for Arts
Someone's trash is another's treasure? In art it's especially true. We will take unusual objects of waste, and a ton of creative vision to create a group installation piece that will standout to all. This class will take place at Splatter Kids Messy Art Studio in the Lincoln Street Center.

Run-A-Hound
Open to students entering 9th - 12th grade in Fall of 2010
Dates: Mon 8/2, Thurs 8/5, Tues 8/10, Thurs 8/12
Time: 2PM - 4PM
Meet at Youthlinks
Running and climbing rocks on the beach is always more fun with a furry companion. This community service activity involves taking dogs from the Humane Society and walking, running, climbing, with them at Birch Point, Owls Head, and Camden Hills State Parks. Stretch your legs and get out on an ocean beach, in the summer sun, with a furry friend.

Skating at Camden Skatepark
Open to students entering 9th - 12th grade in Fall of 2010
Dates: Fri 8/13
Time: 10AM - 12PM
Meet at Youthlinks
We have rented the Camden Skatepark for your use! Grab your buddies and join in on the fun. We will be leaving from Youthlinks at 10am. Transportation and skating gear are available. We will be meeting at Youthlinks. RSVP on Facebook or call us at 594-2221.
All participants will be required to fill out a waiver beforehand, so don't wait until the last minute.

Soup Kitchen
Open to students entering 9th - 12th grade in Fall of 2010
Dates: Sat 8/14
Time: 10AM - 2PM
Meet at St. Peters Church (next to Rockland library)
Join us to prepare for Saturday's Soup Kitchen. We will be prepping, cooking, and cleaning up a meal for 30-40 people. Bring your friends, and make it a fun time. Not to mention, the 4 community service hours you will earn. Call Youthlinks if you have questions, 594-2221.
