How to Register:
- Check out the club descriptions.
- Fill out the registration form online, in the school office, or by phone (594-2221)
- Not a Rockland District student? You can join on a space available basis.
- Program space is limited. Registration is recommended by Friday, December 16th. After that date, we email a confirmation letter.

- Free bus home at 5pm for all RDMS students beginning January 9th
- Drop off and pick up for all programs at RDMS gym entrance Homework help available
- FREE snacks served daily

*Game Lounge is open to students who have attended their scheduled clubs for the week.
- 7th grade students only
- Parents are responsible for pick up
- Students who participate in Trekkers Week are excused from the first week of their regular clubs.

ART JAM Wednesdays 4:00-5:00
Want to make a great masterpiece? In this club you’ll visit different “art stations” and listen to music to get your creative juices going. Enjoy the dough station, still-life no-look drawing, upside-down portraits and other artist tricks to train your brain. Surprise yourself with what you create.
ARTHMETIC Thursdays 4:00-5:00
Where does math meet art? Artists use grids to create large scale drawings. The Great Pyramid and Roman Coliseum couldn’t be built without the golden ratio. In this club create your own architectural designs and amazing art with math.
BUILD IT Tuesdays 3:00-4:00
Be an engineer for an afternoon as we build bridges, towers, and tunnels. Each week we’ll create something new using everyday supplies. What can you make using toothpicks, clay, paperclips, straws, and more? Can you Build It?
COOKING MATTERS Tuesdays 3:00-5:00
Calling all kid chefs! Cook healthier meals with more skill, and show off your talents at home too! We will be working with a professional chef and nutritionist to create delicious meals that are as good for you as they taste. Best of all take home awesome dishes to impress your family and friends!

CRAFTS AND CRITTERS Wednesdays 3:00-5:00pm
Here’s your chance to stock the RASA store with items you want to buy! Make items to sell in the store, like t-shirts, jewelry, and more. While you’re at it, why not make things to help others too?! We’ll spend some of our time making toys, treats and blankets for shelter animals while learning more about animal issues in our community.
FLYING MACHINES Mondays 4:00-5:00
Paper airplanes, balloon hovercrafts, parachute troopers – can they fly? Find out in this awesome design and build it club. Draw and test your designs for the best flying machine. Add cool logos and graphics to really make it soar!
GAME LOUNGE & RASA STORE Fridays 3:00-5:00
This club is open to students who have attended their scheduled programs during the week. If you want to join Game Lounge you must join at least one other club. Participate in a Wii tournament, play computer games, cruise the iPAD® apps and toss snowballs! Spend your RASA Cash in the RASA Store! It’s Fun Friday!
GAME ON! Tuesdays 4:00-5:00
Power up for this game club with iPAD® Apps and computer games. Your favorite traditional games are in the mix too! From Apples to Apples® to Apple® Laptops, coolmathgames.com to Cool Kid, iPADs® to I Spy. Boot up to fun with games on and off the screen.

GLEE! Thursdays 3:00-5:00
Be a GLEEK! You don’t have to be a fan of the show to join—just be ready to belt it out, as we get ready to perform on-stage for a live audience! We’ll sing and dance to all new songs this session. Continuing members and new voices are needed!
GLOBAL ART Tuesdays 3:00-4:00
Launch an art adventure around the world! Explore, Appreciate, Create! Fashion worry dolls from Guatemala, bangle bracelets from Africa and fish prints from Japan – Gyotaku!
GRAFFITI GRAPHICS Thursdays 4:00-5:00
Meet the hipsters of the art world – Graffiti and Graphic Design. Use cool graffiti lettering and stencils to design ads, posters, and the cover for the next RASA catalog. Do you have the winning design?
HOMEWORK HUB Mondays-Thursdays 3:00-4:00 and 4:00-5:00
Work together, independently or with the instructor to get your homework done. Get some work accomplished while waiting for sports practice to begin or whenever you need a great working atmosphere. Get the extra help you need!

IMPROV!? Wednesdays 3:00-4:00
Shoot from the hip, play it by ear, and think on your feet! However you play, you're bound to have fun! All the silly stuff of improv is jam packed into fun games. Make something from nothing – you never know where you will end up as you stretch your imagination with improv games.
JEWELRY JAM! Mondays 3:00-4:00pm
Love jewelry? Want to learn how to make jewelry for gifts or to sell? In this club we will make everything from feathered headbands, to sea glass rings to key chains. It’s a Jewelry Jam!
ICE ART-TICA Tuesdays 4:00-5:00
Grab your winter gear and your imagination – we are heading outside to create crazy-cool snow structures and ice art! Learn how cool it is to be an environmentalist sculptor like Andy Goldsworthy as you shape the artic elements and play in the snow.
LET’S PRINT! Mondays 4:00-5:00
Create Monoprints, Linoleum Prints and Silkscreen t-shirts! Make your own designs and become the next generation of print-makers!

MINI-WORLD Wednesdays 4:00-5:00
Do you dream of a miniature world? Diorama is another word for miniature masterpiece! Use your imagination and storytelling talents to create your own work of art. Then use a camera to tell the story of your mini-world.
PAINT & DRAW Thursdays 3:00-4:00
Join artist Ron Frontin in painting and drawing. Learn traditional techniques from this nationally acclaimed artist who lives right here in Mid-Coast Maine. This club is for any skill level, but requires a desire to learn.
PARTY PLANNERS Tuesdays 4:00-5:00
It’s finally time to plan a party for you! Let’s make the best Dance Night and Talent Show ever. February Fun for the whole family that will feature music, games and more!
PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE FARNSWORTH Mondays 3:00-5:00
We’ve partnered with the Farnsworth to join mentor artist, Deanna Witman at Julia’s Gallery, the hands-on studio just for teens. Be part of a new wave of photography in the digital photography lab. Each week you will work on a unique project in Photoshop to make some very cool stuff.
ROCK PAPER SCISSORS! Wednesdays 3:00-4:00
Blend together nature and recycled materials to create your own mix of paper. Build Paper-Mache masks and awesome paper sculptures. We will listen to some rock, use some scissors, but in the end — paper rules!
SPORTS BUILDERS Wednesdays 4:00-5:00
Be a team player and a star, because all athletes need the support of their team to truly shine. Have fun working together on games and sports favorites. Learn how to excel with others on the field, court, and more.
